    Lease fees

Ours has went up the last 3 years in a row. If some don't mind posting, what are you having to pay for your lease membership each year?? I was curious if ours was inline with everyone else's.

I just got on a new place in Jack county. Lots of deer, pretty good area, no electric or water. Has 4 ponds then never go dry (they say) 300 acres and $3000 total, year round access. Only 2 hunters.

There's a lot of factors that go into play to get an answer you're looking for.

Amenities, land size, members, deer population, exotics, etc.... the list goes on and on. But I'll play.

160 acres to myself in Childress for $1000/year, year round access, any animals are free game. 3 bedroom house with hot water, indoor plumbing, heat/air.

2500 for one lease 3000 for the other. Too many variables (as stated above) go into determining price. Its like saying what did you pay for your car? Well Joe drives a used Carolla he bought for 5K and Dave drives a Range Rover Sport the he bought for 100K.

Where at in Jack County? I've been hunting there for about 5 years now. Just got off a lease and bought some property.

All about location and the quality of deer in your particular area, this directly affects the amount paid in a general vicinity but as always there are exceptions.

We pay $4500 a year total for almost 600 acres. 3 people $1500 each. I believe it is 8.15 acre but that includes insurance and admin fees.

Were under very strict management rules, governed by and deer checked out by a biologist. Fed tons of protein and corn, deer got better....much better, then ranch goes up citing the fact that the deer quality is getting better and demand more money per acre to hunt that kind of deer. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
