ATV/UTV Disc Operator Error - Now What Can I Use?

This last weekend, I was discing my small food plot with a disc that attaches to and drops down from the Polaris hitch. I must have been too aggressive as the hitch ended up bending about 15 degrees upward. I don't blame Polaris or the disc as I've used this set up before with no problems.

Nevertheless, now that the hitch been bent, I don't feel comfortable using the disc anymore as I'm afraid the hitch will break off. OTOH, I would be comfortable using something that can be pulled behind the Polaris.

Any low cost (under $400) recommendations?

    Thanks!

Edit: In the past, I've tilled, dragged with a weighted fence gate, broadcast seed and unweighted drag or drive over with the Polaris. Has worked pretty good when it rained. Just looking for something to break the soil prior to spreading seed.

Sorry. Didn't take any pics. I bent the hitch back down by backing up with the disc still attached. The hitch is basically level now. I think part of the problem is that the bar on the disc that drops down from the hitch was contacting the soil (vs. riding above it and letting the discs do the work). I'm afraid the metal has been weakened/warped by the bend that occurred.

Can you weld something to reinforce it?

Based on the design of the Polaris, don't think so. At least not for cheaper than some sort of pull behind option. The disc I have, that bent the hitch, drops straight down from the receiver and I guess the leverage was too much for what I was doing. OTOH, I don't think a pull behind disk/harrow/whatever would cause this problem.
