    Broadleaf weed I.D.

I put down pre emergent at the right time last Fall so Im not battling dandelions but this stuff - that I have not seen in the 14 years we've lived here - is thick in my yard. I cruised around the TAMU weed directory but could not find it. I assume a broad leaf weed killer will knock it out, the St Aug will crowd it out or the heat will kill It. Whatever it is, I guess the conditions were right for it this year, it is everywhere

I've got it everywhere this year also, I'm thinking its a cool weather weed and it'll fade away in a month or so. At least I hope so, I'm about 2 weed varieties away from having to take out another mortgage to pay the weed killer bill.

Yeah, I have that stuff everywhere also... I assumed it is some type of wild carrot. 2-4D knocked it out.

I get that stuff in my yard every year. Once it gets real hot, it goes away! The good thing is it does not grow tall like some of the other weeds.

You can put a herbicide on it if your temperatures are still below 90 degrees...any where around that number and you will burn the grass you are trying to save....I would suggest good fertilizer (a 19-5-10) and mowing.....you can also do a web search for Randy Lemmon and look at his fertilization schedule and adjust a few weeks since you are North of the Houston area....
