I was thinking the same but certainly they have tested it before they waste all that money?.....of course we are talking about the govt here.

I'm assuming the propulsion down and out from the plane helps them a little bit instead of a just a trap door that would slap them up against the plane bottom......

Did something similar to this once. But the fish ended up rolling down a cliff and died before they hit the water. Not as effective..
