Just had a gun flashed at me!

Headed through Lumberton and a newer white dodge pulls out in front of me. I hit the brakes and give them a horn cussing. I change lanes to go around them and when I get beside their truck the female driver has her window down shouting obscenities at us and her dreadlock headed male counterpart is shouting the same obscenities and waving a pistol. Mind you I have my wife in the passenger seat and in the backseat sits my 17 month old daughter, 14 year old son and 11 year old nephew.

I slowed and fell in behind them while my wife tried to get a picture of their license plate. I reckon they saw her with her phone up and they took off like a rocket. Exited the freeway and got back on once we passed them. I tried to slow down but they put about 12 vehicles between us and then exited again.

I'm pretty livid.

Obviously though that's a pretty messed up situation even without the family riding with you. I hope they drive into a lake.

She got a pic but the rain on the windshield blurs the numbers. By the time I found a pen and paper they were gone.

I have a CHL but I'm glad it didn't come down to me having to use it. We are in Beaumont on a family night out and wanted it to be a good time. We thought about calling the police and would have if we could have got the plate numbers but we are gonna chalk it up and try to enjoy the rest of our night.

He'll flash that gun at the right person one day and get a lesson he won't like. Folks like that will get what's coming to them sooner or later. Sad thing is they had two younger kids in the backseat as well.

Just think about everyday how many people you drive past on the freeway that are at some point on parole or going to be in prison or jail. I try to think about that. There are crazy thugs that don't value their life or others looking for the right person to they can take something out on.
