Calling for Timm, Randy and any other Coleman experts

Is this a good deal/worth it? Saw this at a local antique mall near my lake house and thinking about picking it up and restoring it for fun.

I'd give that for it. The good old ones are getting harder and harder to find.

I was thinking the same. Just wanted to see if this had any extra value. I'll take a look at it next time I swing by. I have a few of the Coleman gas lanterns from the 90s or whenever I was a kid and used them when crappie fishing at night or trailing a wounded deer.

Good memories, all the restoration threads always get me intrigued.

It is if the tank is clean.

Take a small flashlight with you and shine it in the tank. If it has a lot of rust in there I would pass.

I have also found that those types of fuel caps tend to leak pressure as well.

I paid 25 last year for a 1966 lantern that had been taken out of the box a cpl of times but never used ..It still had the manual and mantles in a pkg under the lantern.

220 is a common model. But, I'd buy it at that price.
