How to secure a 5th wheel?

I have to park my 5th wheel in a place that's not fenced for about a week. During the day I'm not worried about it because it will be watched but a few hours each night it will not.

What are some ways to secure? I thought about cables and lock through the wheels. Any other way?

Take the trailer brake safety pull cord thingy off. I obviously can't remember what it's called.

You can buy a king pin lock thingy that slides over the king pin and lock it up. And obviously I don't know what that is called either. I made mine with scrap pipe and cut 2 holes in it, pretty easy.

Please do not do this. The breaks are not designed for constant current. This is for emergency and not long term breaking at full power.

It will be in my work parking lot. Only a few hours a day there is no one there.

I will get a king pin lock. I didn't know they existed. I haven't looked into this before since it has always been behind a locked fence

                Thanks guys!!

You can get the locks at camping supply places, maybe northern. Don't pull the breakaway switch, you will kill the battery and brakes and probably the wiring.

I would also take at least all the tires and lug nuts off one side. Thief's don't want to take the time to install tires.

minimum this will drain the battery rendering the brakes usless

If you are worried about someone stealing it, Ide do this, and carry the tires somewhere that you can lock them up. Most thieves wont be carrying wheels and lug nuts around just to steal RVs.

If you are worried about breaking in, well there isn't much you can do to prevent a determined thief, given the quality of locks on most RVs.

Locks and chains can be cut with bolt cutters, so I wouldn't trust the chain through the wheels, or a kingpin lock by itself. Those just keep lazy thieves and honest people from taking your stuff.
