Ya Better Watch Out--

I was out in the pasture today pulling the camera card to check on hog traffic and as I was driving out . . . crossing the road. I'm in shorts and running shoes, but managed to stop and pin it with the front tire, then got the loppers and lopped its head. 52" overall length, 12 rattles, and a scar in its middle. Also, took the opportunity to post a closeup of a venomous snake's slit pupil in its eye.

I hate them snakes most of all. Don't know why but they just give me the creeps. I'd rather deal with a cotton mouth any day of the week over a rattler.
