Some of you might remember back around Christmas when I posted a thread with pics of a custom hatchet/knife combo I made for a friend. Well, a few guys ended up making orders for more, so I've been hard at work finishing up all those orders. I'll have a few more finished very soon, but I wanted to show this one off. This was a local guy who ordered one right when he saw the first one I ever made. This hatchet turned out pretty sweet with the Bocote handle and a nice mosaic pin. Blade was cut from a huge old round sawmill blade that was a little over 3/16" thick. When I handed this off, I demonstrated how sharp it was by shaving hair off my arm and accidentally slicing thru the tip of my finger afterwards
