Man I hate driving in Texas...

Because when I cross back over into Louisiana, 55 mph sure seems like I'm barely moving compared to 75 lol

I feel that pain. I have to do some traveling in La. for the job and it's seems if I don't stay on point with my attention to my speed and the help of cruise control, I would soon be speeding due to autopilot, and a ticket will be mine to pay.....thank the Lord for cruise control.

The worst part about driving in Tx is....the La drivers driving 60 in the left lane on I10

Got a ticket in LA a few months back for doing 70 in a 55. Good wide highway. 55 seems like slow motion. Cost $260 but not on driving record if paid on time.

It's even worse going toward New Mexico. The speed limit is 85 out that way. Then you hit the state line and slow down to a crawl.

If I had to drive on LA roads I'd probably be OK with 55.

Didn't realize they had a 55 mph speed limit. Guess that's why I was blowing by every car between Shreveport and Baton Rouge last spring!

I would die for 55 in Austin. Speed limit could be 100 here but wouldn't matter. Sucks.

The speed limit is 55 because at 60mph, you start to look like the Dukes hitting them bumps. Texas' dirt roads are better than any blacktop in Louisiana any day of the week. Lived in South La for 12 years. Love these Texas roads

The bumps on the La HWYs are enough to catch some air on..
