    *^*&@#*$( rats

Hopped in the sami to go pull cards and the wipers wouldn't work.

Checked fuse and it was good, looked under hood and nothing obvious but headlights will not work on low beam either.

Pretty sure when I figure it out a rat has chewed a wire somewhere. Found evidence one (or big mouse) had been under hood.

Guess when it dries out a little I will start chasing wires as I did see a few with chew marks but not ones going to headlights or wipers

Rats have been bad this year for some reason

Yep, gotta put out rat bait on vehicles out at the ranch that aren't used regularly.

Heard if you leave the hood open they won't build nests there.

Your story makes me miss my Sami projects. Don't ever.sell yours in a moment of lunacy like I did

No offense Oscar but they will eat that stuff for appetizers

Going to get some powerful stuff from the pest control place tomorrow and every spot I can think of is going to get some. Barns, garage, near chicken coop, storage building and the shed where I keep the sami for starts

Have to put this stuff in bait stations to keep non target critters (my dogs, chickens etc) out of it

1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of baking soda mixed and put out. Baking soda will mix with the rats stomach acid and build up gas and since they cannot fart, BOOM!
At least that is what the all natural guys say and since i have put it out around my house and fence, i have yet to see anymore!

Took about 2 hrs to figure out as I went how to pull dash to get to wiper motor but I got in and spliced wires (^&*%&* chewed all 4 of them off). Ran out of daylight so I will have to put it back together another day

For any of you that have a sami, pulling the dash is not an easy thing. Starts with removing the hood latch and cable
