Not sure if it was ever issued but it is mil spec, runs on pump gas.

Not in excellent condition and missing the funnel but I couldn't pass for the price

Have you checked to see if in fact it is a collectors item? May be worth more than the usual $10 for a good used lantern!? I for one wouldn't mind having this lantern just for having it!
