Price for a tandem axle utility trailer ?

What's the going rate for a tandem axle 16' utility trailer now a days ?

    Depends on the quality.

I have seen them from $995 and up.

Plan on $1000-1200 new. Not much less for used.

A quality tandem 3500lb axle 16 or 18ft trailer is going to be pushing $2000. You can find a light duty POS from TSC or lowes or somewhere for 1K to 1200

I think Maxey quoted me about $1300+ for a 12' tandom a couple of years ago. C&M out of Ennis was about the same price but not quite as good.

So for a new one now (a good tandom), at least $1500. Call both places and price them and compare frame/axles/cross member spacing/sizes/jacks/brakes/etc.

          C&M (972) 878-6210

Maxey was a few dollars higher than C&M but stronger built.

While this is true, depending on your actual usage and maintenance, one of those "light duty POS" trailers may be more than enough trailer for you.

I think I paid about 1500 for an 18' tandom, with trailor breaks and spare, slide out ramps and led lights new. got it from a friend who owns a place local. thought it was a pretty good deal
