    CHL requirements/ restrictions

Can anybody give me some feedback on CHL requirements for open container ticket and or DWI violators? I've not made wise decisions unfortunately and I am emarrased about that. Fortunately, I have quit drinking and am getting help but would still like to get my CHL. Any thoughts? Thanks.

DWI is at least a Class B misdemeanor, and you are ineligible for a license for five years after a conviction for a Class A or B misdemeanor or disorderly conduct. This includes cases that were dismissed after you completed probation or deferred adjudication.

I might be wrong, but doesnt the time frame go up to 10 years for multiple dwi's or did it have to be a certain class level?

Go down to starting on pg 5. And above is correct. 5 years on a Class A or B misdemeanor and 10 years on 2 alcohol convictions.
