    Peepless?

I have been shooting without a peep for a couple of days and my groups haven't really suffered and was curious how many people shoot without a peep.

Being a trad shooter for many years, when I started shooting a wheelie bow, I did not use a peep either, and was successful. However as my eyes are getting more tired, I put a 4X lens on my sight, and that magnification messed with my vision when shooting with both eyes open as I have always done, gun and bow. Someone on here I think suggested a peep. I put one in and it indeed has helped even shooting with both eyes open.

If you have good form, and you are shooting well, a peep will not be a big help for you unless you get to the point where you do not practice enough to keep your from tight. If that becomes the case, a Peep will help you "cheat"...

I quit the peep because it didn't let in enough light for me to shoot at prime time & that cost me a shot at a 10 pt about 20 mins after sunset. I just align the string with the left side of my sight & that works well for me.

My buddy introduced this idea to me in college to allow more light when hunting pigs late. I shoot a peep again now for accuracy purposes, just not a steady as I was in my 20's. I would use a mark of white out on the string to assist me in my line of sight during aiming.

I have never used a peep. I just un-focus the string in front of my right eye and focus on the sight pin.

Same reason I dumped my peep about oh 10 years ago or so.

Except mine was early morning. Could see him fine with naked eye, but not through peep.

                  I use a no-peep.

I have a " no peep " I use it to make sure I am not tweaking the bow...it works awesome and it really helps with low light situations....never going back

"no peep" : are you referring to a specific product? Like Perry's No Peep?

I'm new to the compound world and the use of a peep is the biggest adjustment for me. There seems to be a lot of products that eliminate the peep sight.

Just throw you a kisser button on the string and keep shooting the sights you have. But I shot a Hindsight for 3 seasons and it was the best No Peep type sight I have personally used

Been peepless for 6 years. Have an original Anchorsite.. (not the new fangled ones thats integrated into the sight frame.)
I made the switch because i had a hard time getting set quickly with a peep, got tired of peep tubes, twisting, and shooting peeps across field...
Never really had an issue with torquing but it helps with that as well.
never looked back.. shooting improved and so did my desire to keep shooting.

I think I'm going to take Ragins advice with a kisser
