Baytown local Shawn Stefani is fairing pretty well today too. He is -4 through 12.

Starting out with an eagle on 10 helps!

He does seem like a good ol boy. He has a great story, and I always enjoy rooting for him!

Unfortunately, by most accounts he's an a-hole. He sure is fun to watch when he's on though. Kinda like some other golfer........

He is the one I follow. Nephew of Mickey Eastman the fishing guide. Very humble young man, who has been doing well lately. He also loves to bowhunt.

I dont know anything about golf but my brother in law caddied for Ryan Mallett ( football player I think ) the other day. I dont really understand why or how he got chosen, he is a pro himself ( not famous though ) but he seemed pretty excited about it.

After watching the Houston Open today, it got my mind set to get lessons and a new set of clubs. Thinking on the lines of Callaways, Pings, etc. since I've never had a nice set.

Any suggestions on places to get taught/fitted in the NE Houston or Beaumont area worth a ****?

I had two VIP passes for the event and turned them down! SHELL just does not have the GREAT feel of PGA golf for some reason.

Yes, he has finished a bunch of tourneys in the money. He has not caught on with the media, so I think a TBH endorsement could help.
