Looking for diesel shop for EGR delete near Conroe

Going to get delete kit done. Truck at dealer now. Service advisor says 1700.00 for EGR work. Almost out of warranty anyway so Im opting for spending my money on delete kit. Any references on diesel shop?

This who does all my work. They are very busy and often times you need to make an appointment way in advance, but it's well worth it.

What truck? I played to have my LMM done and was mad at myself afterwards. It seems very simple to do.

Most kits are bolt on. Mine took about 2 hours or less. On 4x4 chevy there's a brace for the transfer case. If you want to save the factory exhaust you have to un bolt more crap to get it out. If you're not saving Sawzall it and replace

He is talking EGR (kind of on top of a valve cover) not DPF (in the exhaust).

Depending on what kind of truck it is, If you delete the EGR you have to delete the DPF and NoX filters in the exhaust as well. Which also requires a tuner or EFI to over ride the computer and tell it that everything is cool with all the crap being gone. I've been working on diesels since I was 16 and owned a business called Stealth Diesel Performance for about 2 years, I got tired of working a full time job and then coming home to work
on customers trucks everyday so I let my business partner take over. I'm here in Shiro about 45 minutes from Conroe. If you have all the stuff I can charge you labor to do it or I can order you all the parts and install. Let me know if you are interested. Message me or whatever and we can talk more about it.

The cummins motors are my specialty, all I've ever owned until my most recent 6.7 powerstroke. I've deleted more of them than I can count on my hands and toes. I can do the entire delete kit, (EGR, EGR Cooler, full exhaust and install the tuner) in about 3-4 hours.
