Problem with Boat Trailer Purchase

Guys, I purchased a new boat trailer in December. The boat repair sold it to me when they did the boat's yearly maintenance. It was a brand new trailer custom built for the boat. I've been having a lot of trouble with the shop completing the paper work. I've had to call them a bunch of times. They respond "oh it's taken care of, no problem", then I find out it hasn't been. Its been back and forth on it. Right now I still dont have any tags for the trailer.

Is there anything I can do to see if they have filed the paper work? What is my next step if this shop is full of deadbeats? They took my existing titled and tagged trailer when they sold me this one.

What county did you buy it in ?
Call the county stolen vehicle task force officer. If it was Williamson or Burnet county pm me , I know them both.

On a new trailer t there should be a certificate of origin that is filed with the county to get the tag and title or registration. They also have to pay the sales tax at that time.
I would make a trip back over there. Good Luck.
