Meh....

It took me a WEEK of washing my hair twice a day to get the smoke smell out!




BUT it was totally worth it! Had a blast and met some awesome people! I think my 7 year old had the most fun out of ANYONE there. His new friends Hayden and Mr. Martin were all he talked about on the way home. Can't wait for next year! I will do some things differently though... More time to socialize is required.

We enjoyed it. Steve is already thinking about next year. I'm betting it is even more fun when it is bright and sunny.

Agreed. I had the smoke smell in my hair for at least a couple of days. We had a blast. The kid had a great time playing with all his new friends and swimming. Now that I know what to expect, I will do a lot of things differently next year as well.... starting with being on a team that actually does something. LOL!! No offense to the GOFs!!

Wish I had been there longer than 15 munutes. We stopped by on the way through town to pick up some merchandise. Had given ourselves a hour to hang out, but the weather put us behind. Only had time to say hello to a few folks we already knew.

My wife and I had a blast. I met a lot of people and missed a lot also, not sure how that happened with everybody being so close together... We are already talking about bringing the kids with us next year.

The Friday night meet and greet was really fun. It was much more laid-back than Sat. Saturday was non-stop, but that's expected if ur on a cooking team. Good times. Looking forward to the next one...

Team Chicken Wang and Sweet Thangs (Dessert) and of course Kid Food are always recruiting new folks. I'm warning you though......we have too much fun and the dessert table being right there is not too good for the wasteline...LOL
