Cancun All Inclusive for Families ?? Any input ??

Looking to take family to Cancun this summer. Looking for an All Inclusive.

Any input ? Fiesta Americana ? RIU ? Iberostar ? Royal Sands ?

Idk about cancun, but we did the Dominican Republic all inclusive deal last year and had a ball. It was way cheaper than Mexico and not as crowded as the time I went to cancun. Good luck and have fun though man!

A few years back we stayed at Iberostar Paraiso Beach between Cancun and Cosumel. It was all inclusive and we really enjoyed it.

Unless you are planning to party, go to cozumel instead. Before our son was born, we went almost every year. The way I rate Yucatán vacations is:

Cancun = the party crowd.
Playa del carmin = shopping
Cozumel = family friendly, relaxing, diving.

We tried playa once and Cancun once but ended up in cozumel numerous times. Lots to do with the family, some partying if you want to, and MUCH better scenery, food, and attractions!

We always booked through funjet.com. flight and hotel shuttles included. Stay away from the time share crap unless its cheap enough you don't mind wasting a whole day on it. They may say 4 hrs but that's not including a 2 hr lunch and learn, the transportation, and all the other crap they make you do. We made that mistake our second trip (Cancun) and we left our hotel at 7:30 am and didn't get back till almost 8 pm!!!

I prefered Playa later in life, it was very relaxing. Didnt care for cozumel at all other that it was a beach

Cancun....nothing compares with Cancun for party...nothing.If you have never been...and you stay up late, you cant even imagine

Been 3-4 times there and had a blast and relaxed as well. It is what you make it, If you want to relax they are at your becon call.....If you want to get crazy, you wont have to try too hard

Playa Del Carmen is where I went and it is nice. You fly into Cancun then take a car ride down.

Cozumel is great for diving. Went in December and going again around june

we went to Playa with 3 and 5 yr old and had the best vaca ever! it was 5 yrs ago and my kids still talk about it! gran porto real is the place I think we stayed at! safe, nicer than cancun, we spent our last night in cancun, we had 4 different rooms because they kept giving us 1 bed rooms for 4 of us, every door was kicked in, When I asked the bell boy what was up he said drunk college kids lose their keys! and it was a nice resort! PLaya is the way to go

If you do decide to stay in Cancun or playa, you owe it to yourself to catch the ferry across to cozumel ($10), rent a jeep ($30-40) and drive around to the back side of the island! Its the only real beach you'll find down there. The cliffs are amazing and there is a restaurant called coconuts up on a cliff overlooking the water that has amazing food and an awesome atmosphere!

Check out Moon Palace. I told my wife it sounded like a Chinese restaurant but we had a blast there. Everything went smooooooooth for us and have recommended to several of our friends.
