Which area is better?

Which area has bigger racks,Lampassas or San Saba?Trying to decide which to hunt.

As much as private land is leased these days, I really don't think you can go by what area it is in. You really have to look at past lease members hunting habits and the neighbors hutning habits to know what kind of deer are going to be possible. As far as what area produces the best nutritional vegitation for deer I would say San Saba would be better than Lampasas, but I don't live down there so I don't know for sure. I pureley base that decision off of the fact there is probably more vegitation available in the san saba area as opposed to lampasas becuase you start getting into the rocky hill country around there
