Strongest transmission?! Not....blew mine up at 125k and buddy lost his at 140k miles. All stock too.

Do some research. They have some of the least problems out there. I know many, many, many people.. Running those transmissions on 450-550 rwhp.

I dont need to do research man I saw it first hand! and I am not a Ford basher by any means I still drive one to this day but not a 6.0.

And that makes your argument invalid. I've seen a lot of things fail first hand. Doesn't mean they're all pieces of crap (not just talking about trucks here). So for me to go and bash something that fails on me, but not regularly to the rest of the population would be an uneducated and misplaced judgement.

Lol...I believe the 6.0 is KNOWN for ALL their problems bud and the majority of the population who has had them say the same about them...JUNK!

Definatly not the strongest transmission but definitely a good reliable trans. Ford trans issues ended after the 7.3. Just because your ****the bed doesn't mean they are all bad. Allison has had trans go bad on stock trucks too. It's not like it's a common problem like the 48re

I have had 3 powerstrokes with the 6.0 being the last. I swore after that truck I would never buy another Ford. Thankfully all repairs were under warranty.

While the 6.0 does have its own issues, I will say I think it was a better engine than the 6.4L that replaced it. Our ag truck is a 6.4 and it is the biggest hunk of junk out there.
