I like the way you think. There are a couple that have a good "base" for topics, but no participation. I think most have moved to FB. I've thought about getting back on FB to connect with other yakers, but I've done well without it for 2 years, so I'm resisting that urge.

No FB for me either. Was a headache on there. I'll stick to tbh for now
5 fish total, 4 bass, 1 bluegill. Also got a small gar to the side of the boat, but it came off boat-side(thankfully).
A few decent photos... largest bass was 17"

Mind me asking what you landed the bass on and where they were in regards to depth and vegetation? I don't fish travis so your secret is safe. Just learning
Yessir I do. They are pinned in place and would be a giant pain to remove and reinstall on the water

If the drag gets to be too much of a pain, maybe you could figure out a way to pull them up and let them back down. The trolling motor that was on my kayak had a rope to pull for the release and you simply pushed both pedals forward. I was thinking of an application for your pontoons where you would have a mechanism to unlock them and a rope to lift them up a few inches.
