COLT .45 western revolver advice

my uncle wants me to look around for a old western style revolver. I don't know much about them so not really sure what model's to be looking for. he does not want a replica. does any one know anything about these revolver or even know anyone looking to sell one? anything would help me

Colt Single Action Army is the quintessential old west revolver. But they're few and far between and cost a pretty penny.

Was talking to the wild west actors here in Arizona what they were shooting. They told me the only ones that held up were Ruger Vaqueros
