    Sprint Switch and Save

Anyone done the Switch and Save deal with Sprint? I have been with AT&T (horrible where im at), Straight Talk (actually wasnt too bad except out West) and currently with Verizon (has its days but better for the most part). Everyone im sure loves to save money so I want to hear from those who have made the switch or are with Sprint.

    How well is the coverage?
    Switch process easy?
    Was it worth it?

They payoff early cancellation fee for the other provider. Mail in your current phones and pick out a new phone with them free of charge. Transfer your current number. Current bill will be cut in half with unlimited talk and text. On top of that they double your data. So if im paying for 10G than I will get 20G.

Am I seeing all of this correctly? Whats the small print behind what sounds too good to be true?

    Thanks in advance!

Had sprint for almost a year and gladly paid the money to cancel my contract with them. Dropped calls everywhere if I could even get service. I have Verizon now and never have dropped calls.

Had sprint for 8 years, lost coverage anytime I wondered out of DFW more than 20 miles. Heck, barely had service in my own house. Their 4G network is garbage and consistently had dropped calls.

Sprint could offer to pay 90% of my bill and I wouldn't take it.

Switched to AT&T in august and not looking back. They might offer you all that data but I guarantee that you won't ever use it all cause you won't get service.

Plus AT&T has roll over data now which is nice. I work in the industry and if you are not in Major metroplexes, I would recommend ATT or Verizon hands down.

T mobile is excellent inside the city limits but goes to nothing when you're out and about.

My son in law signed up with them and cancelled in 2 months. He lives in a brick house 45 miles from Houston and could not use his phone for anything but phone calls inside his house. They SUCK!!!!!!!

My sprint coverage sucked everywhere inside and out of DFW. I switched to verizon and never looked back service wise. My only complaint with verizon is they are so anti-rooting.

If not mistaken that last 1 year and then your rates will be what there normal rates are. That's what I've heard Jason.

T-Mobile is the up and coming wireless carrier and very inexpensive. Rural coverage for them has come a very long way. It would be worth a shot. They will give you a device at store to test, called test drive. You can keep it for 14 days I believe.
