Pop up camper sale question

We are thinking about selling a pop up camper that was gifted to us. We don't have a title, and the pop up does weigh less than 2000lbs. I have plates, but they are expired.

When we sell this, do we need need a title of some sort? Or is a bill of sale enough?

I don't have an answer to your question, although I could throw out scenarios.

But I have a friend looking for a popup right now. Let me know if you really want to sell.

You need the title and in your name.

If you are going to tag it you will need a title.

If the trailer was gifted to you, then you should be able to get the orginal owners to obtain a certified copy of title and transfer the title to you, if not you would have to apply for a bonded title.
