First night, no problem. After that I feel the vacancy around me.

Wow, guess I'm the odd one out. After 28+ years I look forward to alone time. Last year I started traveling for work and was in a different city every week from mid April through mid September, the whole summer. I felt bad for being gone so much and she said "why, we are getting along better than ever". I've only been on 5 trips this year, hope the travel picks up soon!!

Honestly, we started dating in high school but didn't get married until she graduated college. We basically grew up together and now we are growing old together. Spending some time a part is a good thing every now and again.

Im a better person with my wife. It's really hard the first few days, then I kinda get back in bachelor mode (not in relation to other women).

I've been at a hospital on a rotation away from my core hospital for a month. Starting Sept, I will be gone 3/4 of the month until Feb. gonna be hard!

Well, I do love her cooking. In all seriousness, I miss her a lot when she's not here. She falls asleep the same way every night, with her feet on my legs, and if she isn't there I have the hardest time sleeping. She's comfortable.

We'll be married 32 years tomorrow; she completes me and I miss her when she's not with me.

I do most, 99% of the cooking, but I do miss her company after one or two days. After almost 42 years of marriage, you develop habits that you learn to live with. She travels a lot for business and that is just part of a shared life. I am gone a lot during hunting season.

I enjoy a day or two, but after that I miss her a lot! She is my partner in crime so to speak and my best friend!

I have been married 23 years, got a 19 yr old and a 17 year old. When she is gone, I would like to think I enjoy it, I really dont. When I am at the house and wife and kids are gone..its weird to be honest. I am usually the one gone working. Just how I have been conditioned over the years I guess.

I feel like ordering a pizza drinking milk out of the carton.

                            How do you feel when..

17 years here....I'm good for a couple of days but do miss our time together after awhile. We both agree a little time away is healthy for our relationship every now and then (my deer lease) (her trips with her girlfriends to New York or wherever). Absence make the heart grow fonder.

She sleeps worse when I'm gone. I sleep good either way.

As mine is snoring in my ear right now, I'm looking forward to when she goes out of town next month. Lol Now when my daughter is staying the night somewhere else I can't sleep. It feels so weird when she isn't here.
