Ditto, our marriage was exactly the same until 3 years ago. I enjoy my down time actually!

Pretty quiet when the wife and kiddo are gone. I'm sure she won't be too amused when she gets back and see's that I am using the dining table as my work bench to build some fishing rods

I quit a pretty dand good job last August because I was out of town every other week. 'Course, I was tired of working anyway !

It's nice for about a night, after that I miss her. Really mostly at bed time. I stay busy enough during the day, I don't have time to think about it.
