Hate to be the bearer of bad news but hen and rooster sold out to the Walmart of knives, Frost cutlery. Have heard lots of bad reports about their quality since new ownership. Good looking knife though. I have a few of the older ones. Hope it lives up to their legacy.

The true hen and rooster is a German steel knife assembled in Germany . I know at one point they were sending some stuff to Spain to be assembled. Not sure what frost does with them now but reviews yeild less than favorable blades.
