One of the best that I have used is the "wobbleright". It is a silver spoon that is almost a quadrilateral, but it works.

baby rattle traps, chrome w/ a blue back or black back will kill em if they are around!

I have had good luck with crank baits. But it also depends on where you are fishing what I would use. The rattle traps are definitely a go to as well.

Shiney Hiney's in white or yellow, or even just a small white or yellow crappie jig - fished 3-5' under a weighted popping cork!

Feeder creeks, bends, and I tend to catch most on sandy shallow banks, right on the first drop off. Think they spawn there, reason they call em sand bass I guess

I used to have real good luck with the mepps with the red straw on the hook.

This in rivers and creeks and rattle trap type lures in open water.

Jig head with white curl tail has always worked for me!

Rattle traps, if you are in a creek get a RoadRunner. Trolling get a Hell Bender and Pet Spoons. Deep humps you need some slabs and Pet spoons or tie up some flies.

I have been catching them in the deeper pools. They want a hard surface for their eggs to fall and stick too, plus they need current to keep silt from building up on them. Also using an all white road runner.

X2....Little George in chrome or silver has been my "go to " bait since 1974 when I first started fishing for whites..'don't forget the " slabs " either..

When they're stacked up anything will work. Blue & chrome rattle traps work best for me. It's fast, easy and a good way to find them when on slow days. Troll until you catch one then hammer that spot till they quit biting then continue on but don't forget that spot. You can troll back through and do it all over again.

None of that matters if you time it right. When it's hot it's really hot and you will catch them till you're tired of it. Good luck and keep us posted!

You'll wear the paint off of it!

Use this and silver spoons on Lake Limestone and sleighed the Whites for two days.

Took some down to bend state park a few years ago and the guy I was with was using the usual stuff, but after about an hour he waded down close to me and wanted to know if I had any more. My mini tackle box designated for white bass will have multi colors Roosters and a few Little George's.
This was my experience too. I was using a white 1/16 roostertail and catching limits when nobody else was catching fish.
