    Techie question regarding arrows

I have a longbow, rated 43# at 28" that I'm shooting for a while to get the feel for one, in anticipation buying one soon. He didn't have any arrows for it, so I need to go buy a few for it. All my carbons are both too stiffly spined and are all sporting blazers.

What would be a good starting point for an aluminum arrow size? 2213, 2217, etc? Big Brother here won't let get on any websites relating to "weapons" (Only a matter of time before TBH gets blocked, I'm sure.)

no help here, but im sure if you asked this in the traditional section you might get more responses.

2013s should work great on that bow. Use feathers instead of vanes.

At the bottom of the screen is a drop down. Scroll to "traditional". The mods may move this there here shortly...

43#/28", the Carbon Wood 3000s will fly great from that bow. Carbon for durability, and a permanent wood grain so they look, like a wooden arrow. The Carbon Vapors will also shoot well, those are all black and a little cheaper per dozen.

Your local archery shop can get them (or anything for that matter) you want from their distributor(s) if they do not have them in stock- don't let them tell you otherwise. Mine were about $85/dozen for the bare shafts with nocks and inserts and I fletched them myself.
