    Outback Steakhouse Wifi

Any one ever notice that the Outback Steakhouse wifi blocks the GS because it falls under 'Sport Hunting'? I reckon it is their perogative as a provider of the complimentary service but it took me by surprise. Not an earth-shattering epiphany just not what I expected to see from a company that obviously has no problem with commercial animal harvest. I was using a gift card so it is what it is. I usually prefer my ribeyes grilled at home. Next time I need to have a steak out I reckon I'll try the Saltgrass. I am on the SW side of FW so if anyone has any better recommendations for a steak near this side of FW feel free to post them up.

Need to send an e-mail to corporate to tell them and ask why. Then if they play the anti-hunting, bunny-hugger card, tell them you done with them. Enough of us do this and they'll perhaps change the policy.

That's good to know about them.

But why would someone be surfing the net while at a restaurant ?

Ain't went to outback in years, they went down hill on their steaks. Texas Road house and Saltgrass don't block the GS

I think taco cabana does the same thing.

??? Its a restaurant Nancy, get off the phone and unplug. Besides, 4G LTE is faster and safer than most establishment wifi's

Use 4G LTE when out and about unless you are completely certain on the security of the access point you are connected to. It is way too easy for someone to set up a "fake" access point named the same or similar as the restaurant's that will still get you to the Internet but all the while they are collecting your usernames and passwords for everything you are doing. Use your carrier instead of free WiFi when you can.

I'm with you. Haven't been there in years once the quality suffered. Now I'll never be back.

Is it ok to surf if I'm eating lunch alone?

Yeah I figured someone would go off on a tangent. I check classifieds mostly but I mainly do what I want if it doesn't hurt folks.
