Laurel, we pray for the peace and comfort only our Lord Jesus can bring you right now. Please do not let the "Why Lord" thing get you off track. This is NOT the Lord's work, but pure Satan. All that he does is evil and sinful. Sometimes the consequences of sin falls on the just and righteous. Be assured that our Lord will guide and protect you and you will be reunited with your precious son some day. You can draw comfort knowing that your son is indeed blessed beyond our earthly ability to comprehend...

God bless you! Hang in there and hold onto the faith that heals all wounds... Wounds sometimes leave scars, but healing does come. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is true. I buried my young son in August of 2013, and the Lord got my wife and me through that horrible tragedy and has given me my joy back because I know where my son is. I look forward to being reunited with him some day. You will also have that joy some day Laurel. Cling to our God!

Hopefully laurel can have a little resolution today. Nothing will bring her son back and she is still in a very tough place.

The death penalty was never on the table, don't understand it.
Brayden is at peace, laurel will never be the same and she has shut us all out and left the state. I pray the good lord will heal her.
And for that POS I hope every day is hell on earth for him and I hope it's a painful existence for him until someone either takes him out or he offs himself.
That might not be the Christian mind set but it is my frame of mind.
