    Installing new bermuda grass

I will be laying down some bermuda grass it looks real easy to do. Can anyone give me tip i should be aware of? Do i need to water right away? Should i do fertilzer it right away. Anything else i miss

Most sod is heavily fertilized on the turf farm so you likely don't need to fertilize yet. Keep it wet until the roots take hold for a few weeks.

If you have a roller I would roll it to smooth out any major lumps.

Flood it for about 2 weeks after laying.

Before installing, make sure you have adequate soil and fix any drainage problems you may have.

Do not Fertilize but WATER. I put in Bermuda last year in May. I put a timer on the sprinkler so it would water midday. Waiting until you get home is too long between for the first couple of weeks. A minimum of 3 times a day the first 2 weeks

                nothing to it!

Bermuda grass loves nitrogen, give it a light coat of fertilizer when you lay it. Water every day for a week then back off, you don’t want it to be a swamp. After about 6 weeks fertilize again with high nitrogen Scotts or an equivalent, you should have a really green yard by this time. If you want you can mow it every couple days to get that golf course look. EASY

Pre soak the soil and then lay the sod. after a couple weeks spread a slow release nitrogen fertilizer. it will be all good in about a month. you wont even know its been sodded. oh and water everyday atleast 1time for about a month

Seeing that you are in Pflugerville, what kind of soil prep have you done? Added compost or topsoil? Some say to roughly match soil types of the existing soil to the soil that is with the sod but I don't know of many sod farms around Austin. Place in a checkered pattern / offset pattern. Water in real well and use a sod roller if possible. Depending on the amount your putting down, simply walking on it will help spread the roots out. Water well, not flooding, but well. You don't want any erosion taking place below or in between the sod either, if your on a slope. If you can water 2-3 times, even better. Give it a month or so, you can tell by lightly pulling at the corners of the squares, if its rooted well or not. Gradually, mow a max of 1/3 total height down at a time to your desired height.

Before ordering, make sure that Bermuda is compatible with your yard. If you've got shade and are willing to spend the money, I would go Zoysia.
