I'm still wondering how the NFL can suspend him for anything if charges were dropped.

It's the new PC NFL. Trying to save face.

There are usually morals clauses in NFL contracts so they can suspend you and you have to fight the suspension.

That's what I've been saying. Wish the evidence could be unsealed. According to some that were at the trial the judge screwed up. Listen to or read the 911 transcripts and it doesn't sound like he was at fault. Sounds like a coked up broad doing the attacking.
If so then bring him on!! If he did it, then do whatever you would normally do for that level of misdemeanor. There were no felony charges...

He beat his girlfriend, there is an article on this thread about it. He was charged and convicted, but he appealed and then they couldn't find her to testify again, prob because she's scared for her life. However bad*** this guy is on the field he's a punk off the field!

Did you read the transcripts of the several 911 calls. "May" not be so cut and dried...

Why even bring this kind of publicity and potential prob to dallas?? Unfortunately kids look up to these guys as role models, is this the guy they need to look up too?

And I'm not saying this guy is innocent or a saint. It just seems many are just listening to one media report that he's guilty and we all know the media spins what they want. They won't talk about the other possibilities/media reports. Anything to sell papers (sell whatever) and we always complain about them doing that to our guns and hunting but now you believe everything one or two are saying. Makes perfect sense...
I went into this thinking like most of you that he's guilty. Now I'm just too sure about that. Look into it with an open mind, not a libertard mind.

The polls in Dallas are against bringing Hardy here. Let them win a few and him get some sacks/ QB pressures and the polls will swing favorably in his favor whether he's guilty or not. Fact

The fan base and the franchise are ok with his issues so I don't really see a problem with it. It is really good news for Dez cause if they would pick up Hardy they should be able to pay him 35-40 million guaranteed money.

I've read the 911 transcript as well. And the lady that got the neighbor to call 911 was drunk as well and probably high too, as was the so called victim. And maybe she did get roughed up by someone in the apartment, they were trying to force her to leave. She was all coked up so I'm sure she was not acting like a rational person.

I agree, we will see what comes of this, I just still don't understand why you would bring this distraction and possible problem to your team. But, I'm not a NFL owner and maybe he knows what he's doing.

Won't be near the distraction as the whole T.O. thing. That guy was a joke and couldn't even catch the ball.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: if your kids are looking up to pro athletes as role models, YOU are failing as a parent. It should be YOU they are looking up to.
