Place to stay in Fredericksburg????

Wife is running a 1/2 marathon in Fredericksburg the weekend of April 11th. We are looking for a nice place to stay Fri and Sat night that sleeps at least 7 people. Anyone have any recommendations? Preferably outside of town but not 3 counties over.

For sure--was there last week with our kids--2nd time we've stayed there. Elk out the back door, axis and wt out the front -- maybe 175 of them -- a huge herd.

Yes, I know. That's why I was looking for a recommendation. I sleep in enough hotels and don't want to book some crap hole.
