    Toledo Bend lodge/guide

Looking for recommendations for nice lodge, diners, and fishing guide for family reunion. Wives attending so nicer the better to hope for a repeat. Anywhere else to consider in that area. Sam Rayburn maybe?

First class operation. Great boat ramps, excellent cabins, plenty of parking.

Not familiar with any tole do bend guides but cypress bend resort on the Louisiana side is nice and also has pool and golf coarse.

For Sam Rayburn I would say Jackson Hill or Powell Park. At Jackson Hill I would talk to them and see if they can hook you up with one of the crappie guides that leave out of there. Sam Rayburn is a really great fishing lake for crappie, catfish and bass but their crappie and catfishing is way overshadowed by the consistent bass fishing. Probably one of the best unspoken crappie and catfishing lakes in Texas.

Fin and Feather lodge. Its straight across the lake from my lake house. In the middle of Housen Bayou, nice cabins and boat ramp. Fishing is getting good right now.

Doesn't get better than Cypress Bend if you are taking females. World class resort for about $99 a night.

Cypress Bend and guide Darold Gleason comes highly recommended as does Stephen Johnston.
