Of all the food "genres," Mexican food probably has the highest number of purists/snobs. I love Torchy's.

I've been to several around Austin and one in Dallas. I don't see why the Lubbock location would be any different.
Have you ever been to any Torchy's?

I don't think it's earth shattering but it's definitely good. We have one in Amarillo now. Their quest is fantastic. You should give it a go.

Yes, go! Gourmet tacos, eclectic mix of ingredients.
I like the Brushfire - Jamaican jerk chicken with Diablo sauce, cilantro , sour cream and mangos.

Great queso.
Green chile pork tacos are good.
The one in San Marcos has an awesome indoor/outdoor bar and patio with amazing scenery.
