Speaking of aoudad,,, any places to try for one? I'm looking for an Aoudad hunt.

I heard from a good friend,who lives in Kerrville, that the population is getting out of control in that area.

I hunt in Kerr County also (just outside Comfort) and there are tons of Axis just down the road from my lease. We see them all the time driving in. But do they ever come on our property? No! We can hear them barking at night but never close enough. Hoping they'll eventually move in.

When I retire in a couple years, and move back to Texas, an Axis is definitely on my list! Nice problem to have.

I was loaded with Axis a month and a half ago. Went through the trouble of setting up a alfalfa feeder and they disappeared. Haven't seen any signs of them in over three weeks.
