    Impressive

It is OK but not the best service in the world. Probably the best we have here but that ain't saying much.

Is it the little smaller Cabela's off of the loop (or somewhere near the west loop)? If so, that is where I got my single pin Trophy Ridge sight before the season started. A couple of guys in the archery shop were very nice and very helpful. I live in the DFW area so I have the two large ones here, but I was visiting folks and had my bow to get practice before the season started.

Service has always been good when I've been there.

Glad that has changed. I went in right as it opened and watched 2 employees in the shoe dept sit there and talk and watch me pick up about every pair of snake boots on the display racks and still did not say Hi, Bye or nothing, just talked to each other. Another employees actually fitting shoes to another peson finally ask me if he could be of any help. Took a friend into the store to buy arrows and when the so called expert ask if he could help, we told him we needed to get my friend measured to purchase arrows. "Expert" said he did not need to be measured, he just needed to know what his draw length was!?

Besides, their hiring practices are not what I would consider to be up to par or ethical for a large company like that, at least in this store. I know this from experience.

I have not been itno the Gander or Cabela's since the event with my friend and the archery dept and Academy has shafted me one too many times for me to go back.

Besides Academy has moving light standards in their parking lot.
