    Javelina hunt

Went down south for a Javelina hunt this week for the first time in many years. The hunting was pretty slow and the Javi's and Hogs both were very skiddish but I was lucky enough to get my 2. First one I got on a spot and stalk and the 2nd I had patterned down a group for 2 evenings and set up a brush blind on the edge of the sendero the 3rd evening and waited for them to arrive, and they did! I was the only one in our group to harvest one but we still had a good time!

We just got back from down there also. Wet pretty much all week. But our group did manage to get our javelina's (except two guys) All had plenty of opertunities. And I did manage to get a very big pig also ( 2 inch shield). I love hunting thoses suckers, down there. Nothin quite like it. Looks like the rage hypo woked for you also ? Was not a fan of them, but man did they bring em down quick.

These were just the regular Rage 2 blades, I haven't tried the hypo's or any of there new models yet but I have always had great results out of them and never a failure. 1 Javi went about 15 yards and the other only made it 5.

Glad you had a good time in spite of the rain. When we hunted with them in Feb it was wind.
