Looks like a duck, turkey, and a buzzard had a three way. Saw it in the tree line where I hunt. Thought turkey from a distance. It is a big bird.

Definitely Muscovy. Pay attention to where you step they leave alot of "evidence" wherever they go.

Muscovy is correct but we always called em "Scoby Ducks".

I "heard" if you catch one and throw it into a buddy's motel room while he's asleep, he'll pee all over himself trying to get away from it.

If I remember correctly a government official rallied to have these birds protected thinking they were wild native birds. This caused a problem cause people raise them for meat. They are not native or wild. The law had to be over turned. If I remember correctly my grandmother used to make mole with these.

Let him get comfortable around your place, you are likely to change your attitude about these things. They are a scourge! You won't believe the volume of poop they can generate. And if you feed it, you will find him on your porch waiting for the next meal all the while leaving big messes everywhere and it is very toxic!
