New puppy...which food should I look at?

I'll be getting my new pup next weekend and he will be 6.5 wks old by then he's a lacy/catahoula/redbone coon mix, I'm getting him from a tbh member

Just wanted to see what others have, or are feeding there pups and see how it's doing for them

He's eating purina puppy chow, I thought about just switching him over to Purina pro plan puppy since it has some better ingredients

This I recently got a Vizsla and bought what the TBH who I got the dog from, what they were feeding him so he wouldn't have any more accidents than normal puppies have already. But after this bag I think I am going to change him to the blue wilderness brand as well, slowly incorporating small amounts of his old brand with the new one.

Same here but I'm going to try Victor Dog Food. Mt. Pleasant based, good ingredients, good reviews, **** good price and my local feed store carries it.

I have always fed Nutro puppy but with the lamb meal and not chicken... With mostly labs, I didn't want 'em eating bird parts. With a tracker I don't know that it matters, but I still prefer the lamb meal. Some of the newer stuff like the blue wilderness and such that have no grain/glutens, they might be a good idea. I always had healthy pups feeding the Nutro though. Then after a year, I switch to Nutro Max... it is a good high protein diet and has the side benefit of "low residue" (lower volume poop) and with a lab, it made lots of difference.

When I had my amstaff she loved nitro puppy food then once she became a adult I switched her to TOTW but then after about 8 months of eating that she had liver failure, so I know they have good ingredients but after that even its last on my list
