    Lake LBJ

We will be spending some time at Lake LBJ next week and I'm interested in any suggestions on fishing. The house is located on the upper end where the Llano and Colorado Rivers merge. I'm taking my jet skis which are rigged for fishing, just not sure where to fish and what to fish for.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Brandon

Lake LBJ is known for being able to catch bass year round. There are a ton of concrete retaining walls and boat docks to flip. You will find grass beds up the Colorado on main points that can produce also. The 1431 Bridge pylons are a great place to tie up and catch crappie, the llanorado bait store ( located right past the 1431 bridge across from napa auto parts) is about the only place to get minnows and are good people. It's really what your in the mood to fish for but it's a great lake, I throw soft plastics and jigs when I'm bass fishing.
