    Shooting advice needed!

My girlfriend has been shooting for several months now and she is having problems shooting consistent groups. I think a big part of her problem is that her elbow hyperextends when she fully extends her arm. To keep this from happening iv been having her keep the elbow bent but i think that is keeping her from holding the bow steady. I know it could be others things that are effecting her consistency but i wanted to get some advice from the green screen! Thanks in advance guys!

Try gripping the bow with thumb and fore finger only. Close the other three fingers with the grip just outside of the fingers. This will creat a 45 degree angle with knuckles in comparison to the bow grip. In doing this, you will rotate the elbow upward moving the forearm away from the string travel.

    Hope this helps

It could be as simple as an anchoring point issue. Make sure the anchoring points are consistent. The grip position that Hornet Hunter stated will help out a lot to keep from torqueing the bow.

Thanks Hornet! Ill have her try that and see if it helps. Her anchor point seems to be consistent.
