Got it done today with an easy -no foot stomping or threatening to leave theatrics on my behalf. She just quickly agreed to last years price of $85 + tax & some music licensing fee- total of $105.
I know I left some money on the table, but it was worth the lack of stress for a couple bucks a month .
Now the next call to Dish to figure out why the shows aren't hopping any more- that took the cake. I think "Stephen" was just messing with me toward the end of that call before transferring me to an American with a brain. No one can really be that stupid.

I just called to cancel. They just gave me six months for $30 bucks but I lost the all access package. Don't care about that until September when I need the football channels again. $5 a month? I'm in.

Offer them $1000 and they would likely accept your offer
Best decision I ever made was to purchase LT subscription 4-5 yrs ago

I will call them once I get enough gumption to wait on hold for 10 minutes then struggle to communicate with the representative...............lol!
