Its very close to the border, lock up your vechicle especially if its a four door !!! All around just be careful and know your surroundings,,, -
Just don't stare at the men sitting at the table with the big gold chains, alligator boots and all the waiters waiting on them hand and foot. Other than that you should be good

I live down in the valley and feel safe all over, well maybe except south Alamo at 2 AM. Just stay alert. What are you going there for?
Read the FBI crime reports the valley over all is very low on violent crime. I am originally from New Orleans the yearly violent crime here is a good Friday night in NOLA.Comment

Its not as bad as the updates I get on Facebook from KRGV Channel 5 make it sound. Just your run of the mill home invasions, homicides, kidnappings and high speed chases.Comment

It will be fine...we have our issues & areas like any border region or major cities.
