$100-$1500 is about right, I guess. I was told it would be about $200 per animal to ship to the states. Now, that doesnt include the exporter that will deliver your shipment to the taxidermist. Thats gonna be another $300-$500.

        OT,

I talked to Thea at Zulu Taxidermy today and they have no record of your animals being delivered. I called Allison and she said all your skulls had been lost!

For you guys getting animals mounted over there, it will be a higher shipping and import fee once it arrives in the US than salted skins. From what I've seen and heard, even with the cheaper cost of taxidermy over there, it all comes out about the same.

I see you made it home!

I'll know in a few days if I did bring "something" back.

I have already paid for a warthog, blesbock and hartabest and the others will probably have to be approved by the traveling pocket book and financial advisor tht is going with us (my wife). The 3 animals that are on my list and not in any particular order are Sable, Kudu, Oryx and possibly a Nyala, but I will just have to see what I see and what I can get a shot at when I get there. The list just got shorter on animals because I had a customer refuse to pay me for a job I completed and that set me back over 5 grand with over $3300 of that being out of my own pocket already in sub labor and materials. Ouch!
