It is hard to believe that he was not immediately terminated. There is nothing to investigate. This is what is going on in some public schools and it just keeps going. Now in NY they have a vacation for Muslim Holidays. Who knows whats next.

if I was one of those kids dad, getting fired would be the least of his worries! It is just ridiculous what the liberals have accomplished with the school system in this country.

Nothing to investigate?Everybody is entitled to due process.How about starting with determining if it is in fact a real recording of the teacher.Or do we now just take the word of one kid as gospel.

Well when you have a principal asking for the recording to be destroyed,the teacher already suspended, not sure what else is needed to investigate.

Are you suggesting a 6th grader was able to find a recording of their teacher and change the audio? Seems pretty clear cut to me. I don't think we need a long drawn out process for this.

This happened not too long ago with the DISD HR director sending racist email and text and it was all hush hush until word got out. DISD covers up there own. Not sure if its a union job or not, which could make it more difficult to terminate even with the facts right in front of them.

I'm not suggesting anything.Just saying there's a process in place and rightfully so.I've seen people(school district employees) fired for less based on a kids word.I don't know that is the teacher on the recording and neither do you.That you're not sure what needs to be investigated means exactly that.You don't know.You heard one side of the story and it's clear cut.

I will try and be more clear. If they determine that it is his voice, he should be terminated.. No long drawn out ordeal. There is no place for that in a classroom with 6 graders period. Districts must take a tougher stance at getting rid of subpar teachers.

You dont know what they did. Maybe they destroyed the teachers car or home..or personal property.
