    Any Yamaha Rhino owners?

Need a side by side for the new lease, been looking at the mules and rangers, I found a 2006 Rhino 660 in good condition and $300 under budget. Went and test rode it tonight, cold front had blown through so I got to see how cold start was. Pulled the choke and fired right up. Rode it around, tested the diff lock and the 4x4. I just want to know if any green screeners have anything to say about the rhino.

I had one until someone decided they needed it more than I did. I loved it. The only problem I had with it was the boots on the back seemed to get torn or cut a few times. They are loud compared to my golf cart.

My dad has one, and I like the size of them. Smaller than the ranger or mule. Depends on what's important to you in a utv.

Yamaha makes good quality bikes. I've never owned a Rhino, but I have had a Grizzly, Kodiak, and Raptor. Nothing but good things to say about them. I do know a guy on my lease has one that stays at the lease all year under a tarp and fires right up every time he's there with no problems.

Great rig for the lease. Ours has been ride hard and put away wet and has had a few problems, but it's cheap stuff. The carbs will start to leak on these things, but since it's not a gravity feed system they won't leak your fuel out like the Grizzlies. Also there can be an issue with the fuel system (cracking sending unit, clogged lines, etc.) but it's a cheap fix. I'm in the process of replacing everything from the tank to the carb, including the fuel pump, and will be well under 100 bucks.

The only problem with my 2006 is it can take a while to start. When I bought it the sales guy told me I needed to run it at least once a week or else the ethanol will mess up the carbs. Turns out he was right. Next one I get will be fuel injected.

Love my '09. Had to replace a battery but that has been the extent of my problems. Mine is the Rhino 450.

Have a 06 rhino and love it.
Only issue's ive hade with it is a few bad batterys and 1 bad fuel pump.
Never have I come close to flipping it unlike the rangers I have driven.
Lots of accessories for them and very customizable.
I love how small it is and yet still seats to big guys very well.

Had a 2007 model. Was an excellent machine. Fast, sporty, and stout enough to get some work done.

I bought a ragged out 06' 450 (dirt cheap) and even though it was beat to hell and back it never left me stranded not once. They are built like tanks.

Like what I'm hearing. I want something that will get through some round trails and not give me grief about doing it. It's compact so I like that a lot on the little 4 wheeler trails I have to work with at the new place. Towing and bed capacity are identical to Mule just smaller bed which I'm not too concerned about.
